WELCOME TO POWER DEMOCRACY

The reason the American democracy has been overthrown by the power of money is because the American people, including you, have been brainwashed into assuming that DEMOCRACY and DIRECT ELECTIONS are one and the same. They are not. In fact, real democracy is incompatible with direct elections. You probably have never heard of indirect elections and at this moment are puzzling over what this unfamiliar term could mean. If your first reaction on reading these words is to believe they are probably impractical nonsense, the brainwashing is doing its job. Those who rule this country know that THE DIRECT ELECTION SYSTEM CAN ALWAYS BE CONTROLLED BY THE POWER OF MONEY AND THAT, WITHIN ITS CONFINES, AMERICA CAN NEVER BECOME A TRUE DEMOCRACY! Those looking for reassurance that the American political system will somehow right itself with little effort or discomfort on our part will not find it here. On the contrary, this site challenges every American to become informed of the real problems confronting the nation and the world. It asks the inescapable question that if you and I do not do our duty to help save our country, who will do our share of the work for us?  You will have to begin by investing the time and effort necessary to grasp what is being presented on this website. You will not find these ideas anywhere else on the Web for now.

The political, social, and economic problems confronting the United States appear insoluble because we are looking in the wrong places for answers. This is not accidental. The governing political and economic powers have deliberately limited our field of vision by fitting each of us with political blinders. To see where new solutions lie we must discover what those blinders are and summon the courage to remove them. Galileo challenged the conventional wisdom of his day and initiated a revolution in astronomy by formulating a simplified understanding of the relationship between the earth and what we now call the solar system. Similarly, the concepts contained in the PowerDemocracy.org website provide a simplified understanding of:

·                     the relationship between the present system of direct, versus indirect elections,

·                     how this fosters a concentration of economic and political power,

·                     the techniques for neutralization versus empowerment of popular democratic will,

Unfortunately, the best reform the RCR.org website can suggest is a lawsuit, filed in courts beholden to the same political establishment that has deliberately and effectively disenfranchised the American People.

If we are to understand what is really going on in the world, we must look beyond the headlines in the corporate-controlled media, beyond what we are told by complicit politicians and multimillionaire "news anchors." Look at who is winning and who is losing. When you take off the blinders, what do you see?

We can bring real democracy to America through indirect pyramid elections as easily as we can establish any of the direct election reforms that do not and cannot work, such as term limits and the campaign finance reform scam (hint: Any campaign finance reform law with teeth in it will be ruled an unconstitutional infringement on freedom of speech).

Take what you learn to whomever will listen: The Green Party, The Libertarian Party, peace activists, environmental activists, grass roots organizations of all types, socially aware religious groups. Post comments in chat rooms and message boards. If we tell as many people about PowerDemocracy.org as we told about the last movie we liked, America will soon become a real democracy! It will happen when you and I make it happen. The validity of these concepts is not limited to America. Pyramid democracy elections could bring real democracy to Latin American countries such as Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, and Argentina. Even nations with vast populations, such as China, Russia, and India could implement pyramid election democracy.
